I'm a psychologist, and I primarily work with currently or formerly incarcerated men; specifically, those who had murder sentences or sex-related offenses (it sounds heavier than it is). As a form of both self-care, shared interests, and practice what you preach, I got into guitar building as a hobby, learning early on through Burl's Art, Brad Angrove, and Dan at Guns and Guitars. I've rapidly been catching up on the massive Crimson Guitars archive. The scratch build will be an entire guitar, body and neck, made out of epoxy resin and artificial flowers/plants. The body design is a unique shape, shades of an LP, SG, and offset. Kit build is tentative, either perfecting my lego-epoxy build from last year, an amplifier-inspired guitar, or something I will think of between now and May (I have delightful access to varying gradients of chilis, which speaks to me).
