Trained initially as an artist then moved into furniture design and making, running my own workshop for 25 years in the North East of England.
Moved to Australia in 2015 taking a course in acoustic guitar building and now trying my hand with electrics. This will be my 4th build using native Australian timbers - Tasmanian Blackwood and burr Tasmanian Oak. All probably stained down to enhance the gold hardware. There are a few holes in the burr that will be resin filled. Something sparkly though I'm hoping the whole guitar will evolve as the build goes on.....
