I have only been making guitars for about 5 years, starting off with kits and moving onto full builds. I collaborate with my friend Mat who is an incredibly talented illustrator/artist. We collaborate on many projects and this one seems to be especially fruitful.
Myself and Mat didn't know where to start. You can build any guitar, but anything run-of-the-mill certainly won't cut it. We decided, like the childish boys we are that why not make a dinosaur guitar. It was as good a starting point as any.
