By day, I am a Senior Network Engineer with two children. My other half and I also run a small soap business out of our home and sell online and post creation videos to our YouTube channel. I just recently picked up building guitars as a hobby, Ben/Crimson's videos on YouTube gave me the bug. I have two kits builds done so far and that is the extent of my luthier experience.

I am entering a Warlock style kit from Solo with a mahogany body, maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. I have started a small bit on making a carved wing into it, however it is completely unfinished outside of a small bit of carving.

I am also going to enter the scratch competition, which will be my very first scratch build ever. It will a multi-layered/laminate PRS style build. I will be using Walnut, Mahogany, Lacewood and an oak veneer for the raw materials.
