The Great Guitar Build-off

I am an amateur luthier working from a small workshop at the bottom of my garden nicknamed the shed of dreams by my family. I have been building guitars for about ten years but have been playing for a lot longer. For the GGBO 2020 I built a white SG junior type guitar from part of a door frame that was rescued from a skip. It actually came from the boardroom of Nottingham Forest football club but that’s entirely another story! For GGBO 2021 I will be building from whatever material I have in stock, lockdown is going to prevent me from visiting a timber supplier and I like to get hands on with the timber I use. As a result of this limitation the design will follow what the available timber allows but it will probably have humbuckers and won’t be a Telecaster.
