I'm a beginner builder with next to no woodworking experience (2 test builds last year), living in a 1 bedroom with my wife & 2 young boys. I'll be doing as much as I can from home with hand tools, but for the bigger noisy stuff I'll use my Dad's home workshop.

My Build is a neck-through fanned-fret 6-string bass. I'll be using maple & alder from falling trees off my Dad's property. As well as purple heart for strength, and a black walnut fretboard blank I got from a local supplier.
