I'm an Amateur Woodworker with a recent interest in guitar building. I built my first guitar just over a year ago and been looking for an excuse to build another. I see the GGBO as the perfect excuse to get the Luthier tools out once more. As a big fan of Status Quo, I'm hoping to build a replica of the Telecaster famously played by rhythm guitarist Rick Parfitt. The guitar went through many changes and modifications over the years and I've the challenge of making the guitar look as authentic and as true to the original as possible. I'll be honest in saying I'm not sure I have the skills or knowledge to achieve my goal...but I'll give it my best.
