I'm an English professor who got into woodworking about two years ago. Last summer I attempted my first guitar build. I've built 3 total, all from scratch. For the GGBO 2021, I want to practice some more by documenting the build of a flamed maple Stratocaster for a friend of mine to whom I've promised such a guitar. I am going to be attempting everything from scratch, even winding the pickups. I like making things that much.
