Hi. I am a hobby woodworker based in the UK. I took up woodworking in 2016 as a way of getting away from the computer (my day job) and getting in touch with the inner maker in me. Originally I focused on woodturning but after following Ben for several years I took in the plunge at the end of 2019 to build my first guitar. I have now built 3 including the one I entered in the last GGBO. I still consider my self an absolute beginner with guitar building but I think I have some great ideas for builds and I am hoping to be able to convert those to physical guitars over the next few years.

This build I will be focusing on a les paul inspired design that i have created myself. I am still undecided on how I will finish it but at the moment i am considering more metal gilding. If this guitar turns out to be a success i am hoping to offer the design as my first commercially available product. I have had several people ask me to make guitars for them and this could well be the first step on a new career. Hey if you don't aim high and try you get no where!
