I consider myself taught aspiring luthier. I have building custom guitars for a little over 3 years. I got the notion from a concert I attended where one of the band members had a custom built guitar, so I challenged myself to try it on a whim idea. That whim idea grew into an obsession. I design my own original guitars from scratch with pencil and paper. I make almost everything by hand ( minus things like tuners, fret wire, etc). My guitar(s) are all original designs and built from scratch. I guess the signature to my guitar(s) are the unique styled pickguards I make. I try to incorporate a stylish, unique, comfortable instrument with a vintage feel to it, but at the same time, sound AWESOME!
