I've been a woodworker and guitarist for many years. I've been building guitars for about 3 years now and last year, after watching GGBO I decided that I'd launch my guitar building business by entering in 2021. I've entered the kit build and scratch build contest because when the contest began I was still in lockdown without all the supplies I needed to build a neck. Luckily lockdown ended just in time for me to do a scratch build so I had to do it! I'm making two reimagined Telecasters for GGBO; one offset and one non-offset version. The Telecaster is my favourite guitar and I wanted to do something different with it, using a new body design, some non traditional woods and construction methods but with a vintage modern vibe. I've tried to keep the design clean and simple and I love natural finished guitars so fingers crossed it will all come together!
