I am 53 years old. I have worked as a precision toolmaker/machinist, owner of a tool manufacturing company,  owner of a custom furniture company, and currently the shop supervisor for a field machining company in Milwaukee Wisconsin. I have played guitar for 40 years.... About 3 years ago I decided to build a custom guitar, a bought a Strat body blank and a fretted PRS style neck and modified them to fit. From there I was hooked and decided to start doing scratch builds.  Since then I have built a Tele, SG, Les Paulish style pallet wood guitar, an explorer, and 2 basses. My plan for the GGBO2021 is to build a scratch Strat tribute to Eddie Van Halen, using different exotic woods inlaid  to create a Frakenstrat type look.
