My name is Ben Berscak, I'm 33 years old from West Berlin, NJ.

I've played guitar for 18 years and decided to get into guitar building a couple of years ago.

I have a workshop in my garage. I started Berscak Custom Guitars with the philosophy that custom guitars should be available to players at a lower price point, without sacrificing quality or playability.

The kit I'll be building is the Cut Your Own Shape Advanced Guitar Kit from TheFretWire.com. I'll be shaping the alder body into a Toronado-like shape with dual humbuckers and it will be a blend of Fender-esque and Gibson-esque design.
