The Great Guitar Build-off

I am a hobbyist with an affinity for woodworking at my local makers' space, The Open Bench Project. There I am afforded the space to practice my craft and even teach introductory woodworking classes! By entering in this competition, I am hoping to stir up the scattered crowed of potential luthiers in my community and create an Open Bench Lutheir's club. (It would be a dream if we could be sponsored some basic luthier tools).
My entry into GGBO 21 will be my first scratch build, and second build overall, and thus has the working name of "Build No. 2 Electric Bass Boogaloo." It will be a full scale, 24 fret, PJ bass made from purple heart and maple with EMG pups. Ben's videos have been my primary source of education and inspiration for the build. I can't wait to see how well I do!
