Guitar Builder & Teacher

I'm Seán, an Irish guitar builder living in the UK and working in the Crimson Guitars School.  I also have my side gig, Awen Lutherie, which was my full time job at home before moving to join Crimson; but now exists almost entirely as a YouTube channel.

I love the aesthetic of older, classic instruments, but the usability and feel of more modern features and techniques, so my instruments often end up looking at home in a line up of vintage instruments, but with radically different features.  I always seek to use the material to my advantage.  The beauty starts with the wood and mother nature!
