I'm a grammar school teacher in real life and as far as guitar building goes, I'm a self-taught hobbyist builder from the edge of the Black Forest in Germany. I started building in 2018 out of curiosity, to see whether I could do it and I have built a fair number of guitars since then - mainly as gifts for friends, for myself and occasionally I do commissioned builds or builds for charity. I simply like woodworking and building and repairing things.
I don't know if I can be of any help to others as I just do the things the way I do them, and I don't know if that's the right way for everybody. But feel free to copy my approach to building and ask questions if you wish to do so. ;-)
