I'm Dan Ciminskie and I build under the name Orbital Guitars. For as long as I can remember I have had an interest in woodworking, art, and making things. I first tried making a guitar in 2008, during my senior year of highschool, after taking 3 years of woodworking classes. (Fun fact: I got the idea from what I think was a beer commercial. I don't remember what the beer was, but in the commercial a guy made a guitar and then played it on stage). I started building seriously in 2018, and officially opened Orbital Guitars as a business in 2020. An interesting fact about me is that I have also been involved with Games Done Quick (a video game related charity event that has raised several million dollars for both the Prevent Cancer Foundation and Doctors Without Borders) 3 times under the stage name LifeL1ke.
