Knifemaker turned guitar builder
Carpenter by trade, HR manager by occupation, Knifemaker by hobby, and Luthier by aspiration. I've made one whole guitar, so I'm basically an expert now, right?

Well, I still need to do a setup, and there's an intermittent fault with the neck pickup that will need some chasing, but I think this one is finished enough to call the build done...
Considering this is only my second ever full sized guitar (2 electric ukuleles in between for a bit of fun for the kids) and I started with raw timber, a sketchbook and a pencil, I'm incredibly happy with how this one has turned out. Is it perfect? No way. Is it leaps and bounds ahead of my first? Oh hell yes. The GGBO community build gave me the impetus to get stuck into this and actually get it finished, so thanks to Ben, Talitha, and the rest of the crew for running this monumental thing and inspiring me to get involved and give it a red hot go. Thanks also to all those makers who have offered support and advice along the way.
More photos to come, and possibly a sound demo if I can talk one of the people I know who actually knows how to play into letting me record them.
Now - time to start thinking about the next build...
