We strongly feel the best thing to have come out of GGBO is the community it has built, a community based on mutual support, sharing of knowledge and overall love of the art of lutherie. 

We took on some fantastic suggestions from our community and are proud to announce the GGBO 2021 Builders Choice Award!!!

All competitors for GGBO 2021 will receive an email with a survey link to vote for their favourite builder from both "Scratch" & "Kit builds". You can only vote for one from each and votes for yourself will not be counted. 

We will then take the top 3 most voted for from both "Scratch" & "Kit" categories to be declared the Builders Choice Award 2021 winners. 

Ben Crowe will be doing a dedicated video on the Crimson Guitars YouTube channel. There will be prizes for the top 3 from each category from Triton Tools and Crimson Guitars. 

Prizes 

1st Place: £200 Crimson guitars Voucher

2nd Place: £100 Crimson Guitars Voucher

3rd Place: £50 Crimson Guitars Voucher

 All winners in this category will have their builds featured in a dedicated video from Ben Crowe on the Crimson Guitars YouTube. 

Key Dates

09/07/2021: On this day all competitors will receive the survey link to vote for their favourite builder in both competitions. (Please check your spam folder, if you do not receive a link please email office@greatguitarbuildoff.com).

15/07/2021: All votes must be in for the Builders Choice Award by this day, any votes that arrive after this day sadly cannot be counted. 

Date TBC: Ben Crowe will be doing a video especially for the winners of the builders choice award announcing the winners.
