Hi, my name is Alex/Calin, I am a nurse working in Ireland and an enthusiast guitar builder, I started building guitars due to my love for music and guitar. I am a guitar player myself, my band is called Era Decay and the music can be streamed on all of major platforms. I started being interested in guitar building and repairing a good while ago, have been following and watching Crimson guitars videos since Ben was adjusting the thrusrod using a leveling beam placed over the frets and the video quiality was no where near to what Crimson has become, most of my guitar building skills have been influenced by Crimson guitars. I am also a minimalist and experimentalist, recently have been learning CNC machining and will include this into my builds. I am working hard, as much as my free time allows to open Hive Guitars to the public, I have been investing the last two years into experimenting and testing building guitars from wood testing to the finished product, a lot of wood has been sacrificed to bring the quality of my builds to a standard to where I am happy to release it into the wild. GGBO 2023 will be the first Hive Guitars build that will reach the public. I am looking foreward and I am wishing good luck to all the competitors, let's raise some money for charity and have fun in the process.
