I am an audio engineer, sound designer, music nerd, and lifelong guitarist. My day job involves traveling the world, doing tech support for a pro audio manufacturer. In my free time I like to make various useful objects out of wood and metal.

I recently began my journey into luthiery with my first Telecaster kit build.

I am excited to take part in the Great Guitar Buildoff 2021!

For the GGBO 2021, I'll be building a Telecaster variant build for playing hard rock and metal. I'll be using the following:

Poplar body blank
Pre-made kit neck from StewMac.
Gotoh Locking Tuners
Gotoh Modern Tele Bridge
ESP T Set Active Pickups

I'm planning a water-based stain black to red burst finish, with clear nitrocellulose lacquer over it.
